The 2019 NYC Korean Parade and Koreatown Street Festival is taking place in midtown Manhattan TOMORROW on Saturday, October 5! Come out and join the festivities with the 150 Korean-American community organizations marching in the Parade and participating in the Festival as we celebrate Korean-American heritage.

For this year's Parade and Street Festival, the Baekje Cultural Festival is sending 50 performers from South Korea to participate and to share the rich history, culture, and art of the Baekje Kingdom, which endured for nearly seven centuries on the Korean peninsula. The performances will feature historical reenactments, musical and cultural entertainment, and dance performances.

The annual Korean Parade and Koreatown Street Festival have become integral parts of New York City tradition, celebrating cultural diversity and offering tourists and residents of New York City the opportunity to participate in the unique aspects of Korean culture. Hosted by the Korean American Association of Greater New York and the Korea Times, this year's Parade and Street Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

KOREATOWN STREET FESTIVAL

Saturday, October 5 from 10AM to 5PM

32nd Street, between Broadway and 5th Avenue

Parade Route: 38th Street to 27th Street, down 6th Avenue

The Parade procession will commence at noon (12PM) at 38th Street and 6th Avenue, and will feature floats, marching bands, and traditional Korean cultural performances. The Koreatown Street Festival will be open from 10AM to 5PM on 32nd Street. The Parade and Festival will feature the best of what local businesses and vendors have to offer, as well as cultural entertainment. It will be an invaluable opportunity for Korean-Americans to cultivate and reaffirm their identities, and to share various facets of Korean culture with New York City and the world.
