Navis Automotive Systems, Inc. is an emerging global leader in high-end software navigation development and map data acquisition with over 220 employees across two locations. We have 3 major departments - professional software development for navigation applications and complete head units for OEMs, map data acquisition for Korea and aftermarket navigation system for Korean market with the Navkingdom N200 portable navigation device. Since more than one decade our products were placed at several OEMs, like Korean domestic car manufactures, Mercedes-Benz, BMW mainly for Asian countries. Recently our navigation application was launched in China, Korea and Japan high system for S- and C- class from Daimler. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated technical qualification engineer with the target to build up our software qualification team for USA & Canada market, South America market. In this role you will work within an international team including colleagues from our sites in Korea, China, Japan and Europe. Function tasks
Technical qualification of our navigation software in the laboratory and in the field
Creating testing assignments, quality control plans and test software
Verification of defects, error identification and documentation
Assessment, analysis and documentation of qualifications results and metrics
Responsible for test car fleet and test equipment
Close cooperation with our customer and internal project management
Participation on customer test drives in USA
Advise and assist the specialist teams in quality issues according to the applicable standards and regulations (analysis and implementation of processes and methods)
Requirements
Education as electronic engineer or comparably with master/diploma degree with professional experience of software qualification
Confident in dealing with office products, defect tracking and test case and requirements management systems, preferable is knowledge in C/C++ software development
Experience in handling of embedded systems is a strong demand
Experience with safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, etc.) and quality standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc. ) is an advantage
Fluent English and excellent interpersonal skills
Valid USA driver license class C, international driver license
Optional first-aid and safe-driving training, both not older than 2 years
