The battle against Organized Crime of the 1920s, '30s, and '40s was a watershed for crime-fighting politicians working to enhance their reputations and seek higher office. The unsolved mystery surrounding the 1941 death of prize crime snitch Abe "Kid Twist" Reles powers the narrative when Larry Levine, the unenlightened son of "Big Moe" Levine, takes over the family auto parts business as his father has become implicated and must leave town. What happens to Larry and PUBLIC PARTS is the story, and the plot to silence "Kid Twist" is revealed at last.

FEATURED ARTIST
LORI ALLEN-BAUER
JUNE 13 - JULY 12
By day, Lori is an elementary school teacher (art, reading), and by night, she is an avid photographer. "There is beauty in everything. You just have to stop and notice. That's what a photograph allowed you to do... stop and notice."
Born and raised here on Long Island, Lori celebrates the beauty that is all around us. This collection is a visual inventory of Long Island's treasures: from the iconic bridges that connect us to New York City and Fire Island beaches, to the stables of Belmont, to the bountiful harvest of wine and flowers of the North and South Forks. "We have it all." Lori's photographs are displayed and sold in Port Jefferson, Ocean Beach, East Islip and West Islip and in Saratoga Springs. She often donates proceeds to charities including: Meals on Wheels; New Beginnings Traumatic Brain Center; Teen Challenge Alcohol and Drug Rehab Center; Make A Wish; and Island Harvest.
You can learn more about Lori Allen-Bauer and her artwork and professional photography service, Labfotos, at www.labfotos3.com.
