To pay tribute to the generations of Asian-Pacific Americans who have enriched America’s history and culture, Korean Cultural Service NY presents the Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration Event Grant Program. Korean Cultural Service NY will send Korean traditional dancers or musicians to selected American public organizations to perform at Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month celebration ceremonies/festivals hosted by American public institutions such as governmental agencies, K-12 public schools, universities or non-profit organizations in NY and surrounding region. This program is designed to engage and raise awareness about interesting cultural facts of Korea to the local communities specifically through traditional Korean music and dance performances during May (Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month).
To apply for the 2015 Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration Event Grant, please download the guideline and application form, and send all correspondence and signed application form to the Korean Cultural Service.
