AHL-Wolhee Choe Memorial
Grant
The AHL - Wolhee Choe Memorial Grant is to support the
art historians and art writers to encourage and promote academic research and
publications on Korean Visual art and Korea-American
artists. $3,000 Application Period: Feb. 1 - April 1,
2019 Winner Announcement: June,
2019
This fellowship is awarded annually to a researcher or a
curator who is passionate about preserving and studying the artworks of Korean
heritage. The candidate must have a master’s degree or in a doctorate program of
art history or cultural studies. $5,000

AHL – Chun Family Foundation Curatorial
Fellowship
This fellowship provides a stipend and hands-on
curatorial experiences to an emerging curator of Korean heritage. The Curatorial
Fellow will be provided with the opportunity to assist with AHL’s exhibition
programs including opportunities to curate his/her own exhibition during the
fellowship. $3000 Application Period: Feb. 1 - April 1,

AHL-T&W Foundation Contemporary Visual Art Awards
was
established in 2004 to support Korean artists living in the United States and to
promote exposure of their work in today’s highly competitive contemporary art
world.
Deadline:

Award: $5,000 / Silver Award: $4,000 / Bronze Award:
$3,000
The AHL Foundation is asking for your participation in
its artist fellowship. The Artist Fellowship will be awarded to exceptional but
under-resourced Korean American artists to support their creative
activities.
Application Period: May 1 – July

AHL – Andrew & Barbara Choi Family
Grant
The AHL – Andrew & Barbara Choi Family Grant is to
support the artist’s creative process and to cultivate innovative and
challenging work through financial assistance during key moments in the
development of an artist’s career. This grant will be awarded annually based on
artistic merit and its impact on contemporary art. This is a project-based grant and can only be used for the
creation and exhibition/execution of a specific
artwork/project.

AHL – Jason J. Kim
Grant
The AHL–Jason J. Kim Grant is a biennial grant to assist
the artists in realizing specific projects while building their capacity to
sustain their productive long-term careers. An ideal recipient would be a
mid-career artist with a significant record
of exhibitions and must demonstrate a substantial financial need in executing an
impending project.
Application Period: March 1 - May
