Making its return, since 2019, we have partnered with Islip Arts Council and South Shore Arts to bring you an amazing crawl that will feature artists, artisans, makers, musicians and small businesses.
CRAWL STARTS AT THE AGENCY IN BAY SHORE ( 61 W Main St, Bay Shore, NY 11706 )
Here you can pick up your map which will detail all the information on whos, where, and what is happening, and at what time. You can also get your bracelet that will get you discounts at participating locations. Alongside make sure to check out other goodies that we will be giving out to those that come support our crawl!

“Sex, Lies & Cosmetic Surgery, a Segue to Unexpected Pleasures”
Lois W. Stern will present two main topics. First, she will discuss her book, Sex, Lies and Cosmetic Surgery, which offers provocative insights into the ways cosmetic surgery impacts women’s lives, exploring the common and perhaps not so common emotions involved. Second, Lois will explain how this book opened new doors in her writing journeys. She will discuss her Tales2Inspire project and how it has led to publishing a series of books where writers submit personal, motivational stories. Learn how you too can enter her annual Tales2Inspire contest, preserve your memoirs and possibly get your inspiring story published—for free.
In this workshop you will create reproductions of paintings by famous artists. You’ll learn to see, paint, mix colors, and leave with a little more knowledge about art history, all while relaxing and enjoying snacks & wine!
This month, we look at artist Gustav Klimt's "Sunflowers," and learn about his painting techniques. Students will recreate this piece on an 8x10 canvas. Supplies included. Must be 21+. All food, beverage, and painting supplies are included.
CUT & PASTE COLLAGE EXHIBITION - May 9 - May 31 - Come in to the Islip Arts Council Annex, 1701 Sunrise Hwy, Bay Shore, NY, to contribute to IAC's community collage mural (it's growing fast) in celebration of World Collage Day!
Visit the Islip Arts Council Gallery to experience high quality art exhibitions, in-person fine arts classes and workshops, exhibited paintings, live performances, special events, and the Long Island Authors Group Book Store.
There is a rich assortment of beautifully hand crafted artisan treasures available for every occasion, jewelry, artwear, archival prints, greeting cards and more. We also have Gift Certificates for in-person classes, and workshops. Proceeds from consignment sales supports future programming. There is something at the Gallery for everyone!
